against the Rzeczpospolita (the Union state of Poland
and Lithuania) to return cities and the land seized by
Poles during the first Civil war in Russia in the
beginning of XVII century and to achieve a recognition
of connection to Russia of Ukraine, with steady
memoirs on defeats and humiliations of Smuta
(distemper) and still fresh memory of the lost
Smolensk war.
